FIFA announced the final candidates for this year's award ceremony on its official website on the 7th (Korea Standard Time). Dembele, the winner of the 2025 Ballon d'Or, Ramin Yamal (Barcelona), Vitinha (PSG), Kylian Mbappe (Real Madrid), Harry Kane (Bayern Munich), Ashraf Hakimi and Nunu Mendes (PSG), Cole Palmer (Chelsea), Pedri and Hapinha (Barcelona), and Muhammad Salah (Liverpool) were nominated.

The competition between Dembele and Yamal is drawing keen attention. The two players, who competed for first and second place in the Ballon d'Or voting just a month ago, are facing off again at the FIFA award ceremony.
